What do I need to get started?
Simply sign in with your existing Remitly login details. When you want to send money, you can select from your frequent Remitly recipients and use the available payment methods already in place.
How does Remitly Circle expand my regular Remitly experience?
Remitly Circle goes beyond sending money home. For the first time, you can open a global account with a USD balance and send only the amount you need to Mexico, with even better rates than in the Remitly app. You can have up to 5 accounts.
Can I send money to myself?
Absolutely. You can open a Remitly Circle account to store money for yourself and transfer any amount, at any time from your Remitly Circle account to your bank account, digital wallet or a cash pickup location in Mexico, completely fee-free.
How does Remitly Circle protect my money?
Your money’s security matters to us. It is safely stored in an account held in U.S. dollars with a U.S. bank. Your money is kept separate from the company's assets, and we maintain detailed records as required by our licenses.
What’s the benefit of a USD balance?
When your account balance is in US dollars, you are better able to protect your money from local currency fluctuations and ensure your money remains strong, all with zero fees. Your account balance remains in USD until you decide to transfer money out, at which point you can easily exchange it to other currencies, and at even better rates than in the Remitly app.
In which countries is Remitly Circle available?
The app is available in the U.S. for sending money to the Philippines, India, Mexico, and Colombia. It can also be downloaded in the Philippines and India. More countries will be added soon.
